Paradise Valley
Acre-plus estates between Camelback and Mummy Mountain, and some of the Valley’s best-known resorts.
Living in Paradise Valley
The Town of Paradise Valley was incorporated in 1961 largely to preserve a low-density, residential character. Most homes sit on lots of an acre or more, with Camelback Mountain to the south and Mummy Mountain at the centre of town.
There is little commercial development; instead, resorts such as Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, Camelback Inn, Mountain Shadows and the Ritz-Carlton provide dining and spas within the town limits, while Scottsdale and the Biltmore are minutes away.
Homes & architecture
Custom estates dominate — hillside homes with city-light and mountain views, contemporary rebuilds, and mid-century ranches on large flat lots that attract renovation. Pricing depends heavily on view corridors, lot usability and hillside regulations.
Setting
Maricopa County, bordered by Phoenix and Scottsdale, roughly between Camelback Road and Shea Boulevard.
